Mosaic Stand Since Jane started teaching the Mosaic Workshops there has been an increased

demand for us to supply mosaic tools and materials.

We now have a few outlets we supply in the Durban area and orders can also be

made directly through us either here on the website or from our studio in Bellair,

Durban during the Mosaic Workshops and Courses.

This is an exciting new venture for us as we strive to offer you top quality tools

and materials.

MATERIALS

Flex Glue 250g

This is a flexible adhesive to use when sticking mosaic pieces onto

wood/ fiber cement board/ other ceramic pieces.

Bead Glue 250g

This glue is especially suited when applying large areas of beadwork

into your mosaic. If you are only using single accent beads occasionally

in your work, then the Flex Glue will be sufficient.

Bond Liquid 250ml

This can be used as a "key coat" to paint on the surface you wish to

mosaic for better adhesion. It is also advisable to mix the grout with

Bond Liquid instead of water.

and other "lucky bits" you may find. They are put together in carefully selected

colour schemes.

TO MAKE UP A MOSAIC PLAQUE

1. If unglazed, paint the surface to be mosaiced with BOND LIQUID.

If the surface is already glazed then there is no need to paint with bond.

2. Tread the wire provided through the holes in the CERAMIC PLAQUE.

3. Stick your mosaic pieces from your MIXED BAG onto the plaque using FLEX GLUE, covering the wire.

4. Allow the FLEX GLUE to dry for 24 hours.

5. Grout the mosaic using GROUT mixed with BOND LIQUID.
